I've been working on this for months, but I finally am at a point where I'm happy with it. I made it sort of child-like, using pencil over not-quite-dry oil paints. On wood. I don't know if it made a difference, but I sprayed it all first with workable fixative and sort of outlined it with 8B lead pencil. A bit of an experimental disaster, but I think some of the emotion I began it with managed to seep through, despite (or because of) the anguished process.

I like being a bit more expressive sometimes.
