I painted this literally months ago, and I've been trying to finish it but it's just not happening for me. She no longer has the tubers on her head (yes, that's what those rock-looking things are, supposed to symbolise growing life, or dying life, or stunted life~ something like that anyway; from TS Eliot's 'The Waste Land'), but I thought they look silly so I painted over them and now she has rabbit ears. But the background is still white. And I'm sick of working on her. So now she's on the too-hard-pile, until I come across a wave of inspiration in years to come. Maybe then I'll unearth her and bring her completely to life.
Oil paint on plywood.
